Kazdren Aerial

Terms of Service

Effective October 7, 2026 · Version 2026-10-07

These terms are the agreement between you and Kazdren Systems for Kazdren Aerial. They include your promise to check every measurement in the field, how the trial, renewal, cancellation and refunds work, limits on our liability, and California law for disputes. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle information.

1. Who we are and who these terms cover

Kazdren Aerial is provided by Kazdren Systems ("we", "us"). You can reach us at kazdrentech@gmail.com.

"You" means the person who creates the account and, when you sign up for a company, that company too. You confirm that you are at least 18 and, for a company, that you may agree for it. Kazdren Aerial is made for contractors and other businesses to use in their work.

You accept these terms when you check the box at sign-up, accept them in the app, or use the service. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. The service

Kazdren Aerial lets you search an address, view aerial imagery of the property, trace roof planes, fence runs and gates, and lawns, beds and hardscape, and download PDF measurement reports that carry your company's details.

Measurements come from the shapes you trace on overhead (plan-view) aerial imagery. Roof areas and sloped line lengths are calculated from the pitch you choose for each plane. Material quantities are calculated from those measurements and the waste factor and options you choose.

We may change, add or remove features as the service develops.

3. Field verification

Every measurement, area, length, pitch, count and material quantity in the app and in reports is an estimate. When you accepted these terms you agreed that "all measurements are estimates I must verify in the field before ordering materials or pricing a job". That applies to every project and every report.

Imagery can be out of date, offset from the ground, blurred, or hidden by trees, shadows and overhangs. Property lines are not visible in imagery. Pitch is what you choose, not something the app measures.

Do not rely on a report alone to order materials, set a price, sign a contract, file an insurance claim, apply for a permit, or decide where a property line is. Measurements taken on site, and survey records for boundaries, govern. When you give a report to a homeowner or anyone else, it is your estimate, and you are responsible for it.

4. Free trial

  • A new account gets a free trial of 7 days or 3 report downloads, whichever runs out first. No card is needed.
  • Trial reports carry a watermark.
  • Downloading a project's report uses one trial report. Downloading it again after you change the traced shapes (adding, moving or removing points) uses another; changing only settings such as pitch, line types, styles or the waste factor does not.
  • When the trial ends, the account locks. You can still sign in and download again the last report of each project you already downloaded, but you cannot search new addresses, download new reports or download a changed project until you subscribe.
  • One trial per company. We may close extra accounts opened to get more trials.

5. Membership, renewal and cancellation

A membership costs $20 a month or $200 a year, in US dollars, plus any tax shown at checkout. It includes unlimited roof, fence and landscape measurements and reports without the trial watermark, subject to Fair use and Acceptable use. Payments are processed by Stripe, and you authorize us to charge your payment method through Stripe when you subscribe and at each renewal.

  • Automatic renewal. Your membership renews automatically at the end of each month or year, for the same length, at the then-current price, and we charge your payment method on file, until you cancel.
  • Cancel anytime in Settings, under Manage billing. Canceling stops future renewals. You keep full access until the end of the period you paid for; then the account locks. Your projects stay until you delete the account.
  • Refunds. Payments are non-refundable. We do not refund or credit partial months or years, unused time, or time you did not use the service, except where the law requires it or these terms say so (Suspension and termination and Changes to these terms). If you think we charged you by mistake, email kazdrentech@gmail.com.
  • Price changes. We may change membership prices. We will email you at least 30 days before a new price applies to you, and it takes effect at your first renewal after that notice. If you do not want to pay it, cancel before that renewal.
  • Failed payments. If a renewal charge fails, your account locks until you update your card in Settings, under Manage billing. Stripe may retry the charge; if it still cannot be collected, the membership may end.

6. Fair use

Some features cost us money every time they are used, so each account has a monthly allowance for them, set above what normal use needs. Allowances reset on the first day of each month (UTC).

  • Address searches: up to 300 a month (60 during the free trial). If you need more as a member, email kazdrentech@gmail.com.
  • Street View photos: up to 150 a month.

When you reach an allowance, the app tells you and that feature pauses until the next month. Tracing, measurements and reports for the projects you already have keep working.

7. Your content

You own what you put into the service: your logo, company details, project names and notes, your tracings, and the reports you download ("your content"). The imagery and map data in reports stay their providers' (see Third-party services).

You give us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, copy, process and display your content only as needed to run the service for you, for example to save your projects and to print your logo and details on your reports. The license ends when you delete the content or your account, except for copies in backups until they expire and records the law requires us to keep.

You confirm that you have the right to use the logo, names and other material you upload. Job addresses usually belong to homeowners or other customers of yours: you confirm that you have a legitimate business reason to measure each property and to give us its address. We handle that information as our Privacy Policy describes.

8. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • copy, scrape, bulk-download, cache or extract aerial imagery, map tiles, Street View photos or other third-party content, or use them outside the screens and reports the service provides;
  • resell reports or access to the service as a standalone measurement service, or use the service to build a competing product;
  • use bots, scrapers or other automated tools on the service, or use it in a way that overloads it. We may limit how often an account can search addresses or download reports to keep the service working for everyone;
  • open extra accounts to get more free trials, or share an account to get around a limit;
  • remove, hide or change attribution and copyright notices, the measurement notes, or the trial watermark, in the app or in reports;
  • measure a property without a legitimate business reason, or use the service to harass, stalk or track anyone, to infringe anyone's rights, or to break the law;
  • probe, scan or test the service's security, interfere with it, or upload harmful code.

You are responsible for keeping your password secret and for everything done under your account.

9. Third-party services

Imagery and maps. Aerial imagery and map labels come from Esri and its data providers, credited on the map and in each report. Imagery can be months or years old and can be misaligned. It is licensed to us for use within the service: you may view it in the app and use it as printed in your reports, and you may not extract, cache, redistribute or resell it, as images or as map tiles. Esri and its data providers give you no warranty and have no liability to you for the imagery or data.

Address search. Address results come from Esri's geocoding service or the U.S. Census Bureau's geocoder and can point to the wrong building. Check that you are on the right property before you trace.

Google. Kazdren Aerial includes Google Maps features and content. Your use of Google Maps features and content is subject to the then-current Google Maps/Google Earth Additional Terms of Service and Google Privacy Policy. Street View photos are shown on a project's site and access screen only; we do not store them, and they are not included in reports.

Payments. Stripe processes payments. We never receive your full card number. See Stripe's privacy policy.

Third parties can change, limit or stop what they provide. If one does, we may have to change or remove the features that depend on it. We are not responsible for third-party services or their content.

10. Suspension and termination

You can delete your account at any time in Settings, under Delete account, or by emailing kazdrentech@gmail.com. Deleting it ends your membership right away, including any paid time left, stops future charges, and permanently deletes your projects, logo and settings. It cannot be undone, so download any reports you want to keep first.

We may suspend or end your access, or remove content, if you break these terms (including Acceptable use or the third-party terms above), if a payment fails and is not fixed, if your use creates legal, security or cost risk for us, other members or our providers, or if the law or a provider requires it. Where we reasonably can, we will tell you first and give you a chance to fix the problem.

If we end your membership when you have not broken these terms, or we stop offering the service, we will refund the unused part of your current paid period.

Sections that by their nature should last after your access ends do, including Field verification, Your content (for backups), Disclaimers, Limitation of liability, Indemnity and Governing law.

11. Disclaimers

The service, the imagery, and the measurements, material quantities and reports it produces are provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent the law allows, we and our providers disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement and accuracy. We do not promise that imagery is current, aligned or complete, that measurements or quantities are accurate, or that the service will be uninterrupted, secure or free of errors.

Nothing in the service is engineering, surveying or legal advice.

12. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows: (a) neither we nor our providers are liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, jobs, materials, time or data, even if told they were possible, including losses from relying on measurements, quantities or reports; and (b) our total liability for all claims relating to the service or these terms is limited to the amount you paid us for the service in the 12 months before the event that gave rise to the claim.

Some places do not allow some of these limits. Where that is so, they apply as far as the law allows.

13. Indemnity

You will defend and indemnify Kazdren Systems, its owners, employees and agents against any third-party claim, and the losses, damages and costs (including reasonable attorneys' fees) that result from it, arising from your use of the service; any report, estimate, quote, bid or work you give a homeowner or anyone else based on the service; your content; or your breach of these terms or the law. We will tell you about the claim and cooperate in its defense. You may not settle a claim in a way that binds us without our written consent.

14. Governing law and disputes

California law governs these terms and any dispute about the service, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Before filing a claim, please email kazdrentech@gmail.com so we can try to resolve it informally.

Any lawsuit must be brought in the state or federal courts in California for the county where Kazdren Systems has its principal place of business, and you and we consent to those courts' jurisdiction. Either of us may instead bring a claim that qualifies in small claims court.

15. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the service or the law changes. We will post the new version here with a new effective date and version number. For a material change, we will tell members by email or in the app before it takes effect, and the app will ask you to accept the new version before you keep using it. If you do not agree, do not accept it: email kazdrentech@gmail.com within 30 days of the change, and we will cancel your membership, refund the unused part of your current paid period, and delete your account if you ask.

16. General

  • These terms and the Privacy Policy are the whole agreement between you and us about the service.
  • If a court finds part of these terms unenforceable, the rest stays in effect.
  • If we do not enforce a term right away, we have not waived it.
  • You may not transfer these terms without our written consent. We may transfer them as part of a merger, sale or reorganization.
  • We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control, such as outages at our providers.
  • We send notices to your account's email address. Send yours to kazdrentech@gmail.com.
